So they should delay because the plaintiff's lawyer said Cohen will be indicted?
-
That's what it sounds like?? I mean, am I taking crazy pills?

My face is still a little scrunched up trying to decipher it.

After the FBI raid, it's pretty safe to assume that Cohen's indictment is right around the corner.

Means his lawyer is an idiot and his best argument for delaying the case is something Mr Avenatti said. It’s a sad and embarrassing argument.
-
They are desperate and grasping onto anything to keep afloat. They all know
@MichaelAvenatti is right. It’s just more of typical Trump BS -
Agreed, Mr Avenatti is
on this. It’s just sad to see counsel bringing this argument. Pretty pathetic on Cohen’s end too. But these people have no self respect soooooooo.

IANAL but it seems actually shrewd. A judge presiding over a civil complaint by Stormy and her lawyer will not be interested in stepping on the toes of the DoJ, Federal Prosecutors and the Grand Juries they will convene to indict Mr Cohen. I could see the judge agreeing.
-
Of course it seems to imply that Cohen all but expects to be indicted for crimes. I love how these jokers move so fast past "but I'm innocent!" because even THEY don't think that line will work on anyone
-
Ah ok, the judge didn't buy the line and didn't want extraneous media reports to affect her courtroom. If he gets indicted though, I would expect Cohen to retry this maneuver.
