GOP escalating feud with Justice, with Goodlatte now planning to subpoena Justice for access to Comey memos memorializing conversations with Trump, sources briefed on the matter say
-

So the GOP Congress is abdicating its Constitutional duty to be a check on the president and executive branch by their sham investigations of Trump/Russia, and topping that by going after Trump's investigators in the FBI and DOJ. Some "party of law and order". Putin owns them.

So... Gowdy & Nunes have already seen the memos. The House Intel Cmte closed their investigation already. This is *obviously* an attempt to set up Rosenstein- to make it look like he isn't cooperating, and therefore Trump shld fire him. Or Nunes is itching to write more "memos!"
-
Nunes ought to be investigated. I'd really love to see the screws put to him.
-
He is a spy.
-
I don't think so; I think, like the others, he's financially kompromatted.
-
Kompromatted, yes. But that does not eleminate his position in congress, chief of Intel Committee, exposure to highly classified material, and odd behavior becoming that of a spy.
-
Yes, true.

Even on his way out the door
@BobGoodlatte6 can't find a shred of#patriotism or decency#ComplicitGOP are#BurningDownDemocracy to protect#putinspuppet#trumptraitors -
Bob Goodlatte is a traitor and is only doing this to cover up for himself, his GOP goons who will also be rounded up and enabling the main traitor in the White House - they will all do down in the end......Despicable!

What can citizens do NOW (not the midterms) to stop this obvious obstruction tactic? Are the laws set up so that a majority congress can usurp the law but are immune because of congressional immunity in actions involved in their committees?
-
This is why the independence of the FBI is vital for democracy to survive: nobody is above the law unless federal law enforcement is obstructed. Support at least one good reporting outlet financially, hound your own voting Reps, educate yourself ("On Tyranny" book!), protest.
-
Ticked off at these House committees? Call them to complain! Sean Prebbia at 202.225.5074 (Gowdy committee) and Robert Parmiter at 202.225.5727. And ask them why so lenient with Pruitt, Carson, and Trump?

Thank you both for exposing this. Great work.
@RepJerryNadler: Please keep fighting the good fight. Goodlatte, Nunes & Gowdy relentlessly place themselves & party over country -
Yes, they stop at nothing in the coverup for Trump. Truly sad that GOP puts party over our country.

I wonder if the three of them are worried that they are in the memos!
