Talk is cheap. They have the power to make sure the special counsel is protected and they refuse to actually use that power.

And what is this "I don't see a need for such legislation at this time"? When the time arrives it will be too late. Such complicit morons.
-
Agreed. And the argument is so illogical. 1) He’s ALREADY TRIED TO FIRE MUELLER once , and would have if The W.H lawyer didn’t threaten to quit. Thats clear evidence of a need. 2) Only bad things come from not having it and needing it. Not from having it and not needing it

Maybe they’re setting a trap. If he takes the bait and fires Mueller, they impeach.
-
Republicans are not going to impeach, no matter how much evidence Mueller has. They've proven to cover for him time and time again. It is imparitive for the Dems to take back the House and Senate.
-
Most Rs in Congress are really covering their own asses because when 45 is taken down they go with him. They’re all corrupt.

It is better to market it to Trump and how it will benefit him. If you fire Mueller, you will be impeached and both sides of the aisle will support it.
-
I agree with marketing to trump but I doubt that both sides of the aisle would support impeachment. Believe me, if it comes to that the Right will spin and twist themselves into convulsions to avoid it.

That's one-level below a "strongly worded letter."

And two levels below “thoughts and prayers”

How does it compare to a wrinkled brow?

@SenThomTillis has no spine. He was bought and paid for by NRA as well as CA influence our election in 2014 in NC. This race was a precursor to 2016. -
Yeppers. He ran the NCGA and Art Pope along with whomever(NRA) else bought his Senate seat.

I smell indictments and attempted firings on the horizon.

I hope you are wrong, but think you're right (about the firings at least).

It's more than a shame and a sham that GOP members of congress are afraid of Trump. You'd think they'd have more empathy with Stormy Daniels' claim of being threatened/bullied.
