Does this not establish Trump's knowledge and authority for approval of this payment, meaning it is now officially a campaign finance violation?pic.twitter.com/jGNfXJwyZh

Cohen should have used PayoffPal.
I thought the money wasn’t from Trump? Why would he need to reach Trump regarding this payment?
"Hey, Donald, is it ok with you if I pay off this porn star with my own money?"
I recommend everyone associated with Trump to read "Cheating for Dummies"
Michael Cohen: I need to talk to Mr. Trump RIGHT NOW! Hope Hicks: Says who? MIchael Cohen: ...
So, he payments were on behalf of Trump.

This. If it was just a spontaneous gift by Cohen, there'd be no need to contact Trump. Even if Trump didn't direct it, it'd be at minimum an unlawful in kind contribution to the campaign. Cooley's finest.
So a pretty clear cut case of violating election law. But since trump has stacked the FEC, is he #GOP will block any investigation
And looks like Mike is pissed Trump hasn’t paid him back

Standard trump treatment for a contractor
Yup. Cohen’s whole gig with Trump has been stalling, suing and threatening people who Trump worked with.
... and then being shocked, somehow shocked, when Trump screws him over.
If this was Cohen's money and Trump wasn't involved why did Cohen have to reach Trump before making payment?
So, @mkraju, does this solidify the argument that Cohen/Trump's actions with the payoff to Stormy Daniels constitute an illegal campaign contribution?
Suspicious? Ya think?
Sucker.
well done!
