This is in line with what Rep. Chris Stewart said earlier, though he didn’t say if she should be hit with a subpoena. He said she wouldn’t answer questions about her time at the WH

Quigley: “I have less **hope** that we will get to all the answers. ... No one is asserting privilege, they are following the orders of the WH not to answer certain questions.”

Great point. Crucial.

The way the GOP is acting, they think they are going to hold the majorities.

It's hard to figure them out. They act like they are going to sweep November's elections (possibly with more help) but now that the country is wise to their tricks, the GOP is still acting cocky. Best thing to do is sweep Blue in.

House and Senate GOP controlled charades are an absolute waste of taxpayer money. Only Mueller is operating with any integrity period.
-
Charade was the exact word I was thinking reading this. Just a dog and pony show.

Why isn't she hit with a subpoena?
-
Because Congressional GOP is all-in on the coverup, and they have total control over the subpoena power.
-
Yes, I know. It was more of a rhetorical question/rant than anything.

Anyone else think Mueller at work here? Bannon did something very similar.
-
It's a possibility, because anything shared with the HIC will be illegally shared with Trump via douchbag Devin Nunes. So perhaps Mueller told all witnesses to say nothing to protect the real investigation.
-
That makes no sense. Since when is a hostile witness going to cooperate with a special prosecutor before even appearing in front of him/her?
-
Hope Hicks was interviewed by Mueller a while ago.
-
Yes, I realize that, but seeing how she's viewed as 'hostile', why would she listen to Mueller and not Trump? She's protecting herself more-so than helping the Special Counsel.
-
I'm not sure there is anyone on Team Trump who can't be persuaded by Robert Mueller. Have you heard anything from Bannon, Priebus, or Giuliani lately?
