Kelly needs to be fired. His handling of this indicates significant ethical questions, on an already long list of questionable actions - just in the last week. His leadership is degraded, his ethics compromised, and his motives are becoming more clear. Kelly must go.
-
Pretty sure his boss is ok with his statements, so he won’t be fired anytime soon.
-
I have to find faith somewhere in that morally bankrupt circus.

Hope Hicks is in charge of putting out WH statements & is
@PressSec boss
Why isn’t anyone asking why Hope Hicks was protecting her wife beating boyfriend for so long
-
I'd pay everything I have to see the text messages between Hope Hicks and Rob Porter. You know - in the interest of 'transparency'. This White House loves to throw around that phrase. So let's see how transparent they really are. Transparency of convenience isn't transparency.
-
Hope Hicks has a clear conflict of interest!

The WH even messed this up. How could they “initially” defend this guy at this point in time. It was an easy call and they blew it. How does this happen?
-
That Hope Hicks reportedly was involved in crafting the communication (and is dating the guy in question) might have contributed to the muddle.

The abuse is horrible, but this guy was handling the most sensitive secrets without security clearance. You should focus on that. And why does Jared still have a clearance, too?
-
IMO, both are indicative of the lowering of staff standards by this WH. Not sure they had a lot of choice, since from what I read, a lot of capable individuals turned down positions in the Admin from the start.
-
yeah but adherence to security clearance protocols still needs to be codified into law, we can't afford to let the next unqualified POTUS to jam the people's house full of criminals like this crew
-
I agree with you, but what is sad is that we need to codify a minimum requirement of competence/adherence to laws for WH personnel.

Remember when Kelly was going to be sane voice in the room? Good times.

Hitting women, racism, being a Nazi, treason, collusion, blatant corruption - these are the skills which are in high demand in Trump White House.

They don't do anything until caught, and then still don't know what to do. Do they have any instincts about what is right? How many dumb comments had to come out from Kelly and Hatch before someone actually knew they had a problem? Thank you reporters!
