House Intel member Will Hurd, one of the most vulnerable Republicans, to @wolfblitzer on why the GOP couldn’t wait a week to release the Dem memo at the same time as the Nunes memo. “I don’t believe there is anything in this Republican memo that’s explosive,” Hurd said

Rep Hurd, you did not explain why the Democratic memo could not be released simultaneously....both memos could have been scrubbed/vetted and then released. I am so extremely disappointed in you today. @HurdOnTheHill

This interview is bizarre and disheartening. I thought Hurd was one of the decent Republicans. Clearly the GOP is doubling down on being the Trump Republican Party.

Unbelievable. Did he just blame the media for helping Putin undermine our democracy because they are asking questions about the memo? Did I hear that correctly?

How about Ohrs wife being paid by Fusion GPS, about the fact To spy on Americans through a FISA court, the FBI must show the target is an "agent of a foreign power," not merely in contact with a foreign power, about Congressional oversight on FBI/DOJ. Special Counsel time 🤔🇺🇸

lol It hasn't dawned on some of them just yet that the FBI has shown that this whole Trump racket is full of 'agents of a foreign power'. They are being fooled the same way Trump is. The plea deals are masking the charges until the hammer drops

They surveilled Page since ‘13. If they had proof he was an agent of a foreign power why’d they let him operate freely for 5yrs and not arrest him. Either incompetent or want an excuse to spy on more Americans. A bit of an abuse of power don’t you think.🤔😳

I think it would be normal keep an incompetent traitor on surveillance to learn more about foreign operations until such time that a dangerous threat was imminent or the target becomes useless. Otherwise you expose your intel source to the enemy

Don’t quite get the logic. If he’s a traitor (incompetent or not) he should be prosecuted. If he’s done nothing wrong he should not be surveilled for 5yrs. That’s abuse of power similar to Stalin’s secret police head Lavrentiy Beria “show me the man and I’ll show you the crime”🤔

Yea its not the same at all. At least considering that there has to be a renewal of the warrant which basically requires some proof that the operation is garnering more natsec info. I have my own feelings about FISA in general but this is working as the law intended not an abuse

My point being if you don't like this sort of thing at all, then the law needs to be changed. Not that there is an overstep of the law as written

I get it and I agree. I just feel@like these career guys start to believe they are a 4th branch of government and can do whatever they want. The protested the release so hard based on issue that proved false. It’s worth investigating. IG report may expose a lot worse activity🤔😳
