Among the allegations: McCabe told the House Intelligence Committee that no surveillance warrant would have been sought for Carter Page without the Steele dossier. There were three renewals. Steele had an anti-Trump bias and DOJ knew that, per memo

Carter Page was under surveillance since 2013, way before Steele dossier

Early 2014, actually. They got the warrant in 2013. So now we have a large chunk of a major political party and millions of Fox News watchers who are unable to discern that 2014 is earlier than 2016.

Actually, it says warrant wouldn't have been sought without the "INFORMATION" in the Steele dossier.

Wait, so if a cop thinks I did it, he therefore is biased against me, and so any evidence he submits to obtain a search warrant against me is inadmissible as 'reasonable doubt' and he cannot obtain said search warrant? This is very useful information.

Didn’t we already know Steele had an anti-Trump bias? It was reported that he personally brought this info to the FBI because he was convinced team Trump was engaged in criminal activity. How is being biased against *criminals* a scandal?

he gave it to John McCain who ran to the FBI with it, FBI was already very familiar with Page and had been alerted by British intelligence about members of the trump team being spotted where they shouldn't be

Yes. Even if McCain was the intermediary, Steele’s motivations were still about alerting American authorities to a massive illegal cospiracy. I don’t understand how GOP thinks a former intelligence agent being biased against criminals is an escape hatch
