Nunes spox responds to Schiff: “In its increasingly strange attempt to thwart publication of the memo, the Committee Minority is now complaining about minor edits to the memo, including grammatical fixes and two edits requested by the FBI and by the Minority themselves.”

Schiff says Nunes made “substantive” changes to change memo. But Nunes spox adds: “The vote to release the memo was absolutely procedurally sound, and in accordance with House and Committee rules. To suggest otherwise is a bizarre distraction from the abuses detailed in the memo”

Because he didn't mention altering at all. He just went on about the vote held on the memo, which wasn't the question. "Did you alter memo?" "The vote to release the memo was done properly." Follow up should be: "Great. But were there alterations made to the memo post-vote?"

Yes, the vote on the original document was sound and followed rules. But that document was then altered. No longer same one voted on. Changes should (and does) require a new vote. Release all three memos & be fully transparent to all Americans.

Occam's Razor time: Which has fewer assumptions? 1. @RepAdamSchiff chose to throw his own reputation under the bus by calling out Nunes' memo spuriously, misrepresenting minor typo and grammatical fixes as 'substantive'. or 2. Nunes substantially doctored the memo.

Nunes changed the memo after he got the vote, then says the vote was sound? they voted on a different memo not the one he turned in. This man is unconscionable.

That is unfair. I don't agree with most of them. And I'm very against this "us against them" partisan Congress. We must be above that. We must vote that type of politician out! Bipartisan is the balance. Disagreement isn't bad. Forcing a side with no compromises is.

I'm not saying you can or should. In a true bipartisan deal, I can see that happening.
