We should be prepared for America’s own Operation Hummingbird, regardless of the salacious nature of this memo. Imagine Trump will use this to remove Rosenstein and keep firing Deputy AGs until he finds one willing to control or remove the SC.

It will fail. Far too late, and far too much is known already.

I really, really hope you’re right. If the Nunes memo content is as alleged, it’s literally nothing. If a FISA warrant was extended, the original FISA request must have netted damaging intel. I’d assume that this revelation is the reason why the IC worries.
-
I just read
@SethAbramson and@AshaRangappa on the memo and the FISA warrant. That makes it clear, Rosenstein just did his job, as did his predecessor. And that all was justified. (That conclusion is clear, even without knowing the memo nor the underlying info, if any). -
It really is clear by now (@mkefarb1 and others), that very likely GOP has accepted russian campagne money, possibly even via the NRA. (multiple newsitems her on twitter). If really undeniable (as "undeniable in court" ), it explains Nunes' and other GOP-pers actions.

So far, the fact that the excuses are wildly implausible, even easily disproven, has not kept this administration from acting on their fabricated pretexts. I definitely hope that anyone asked to act on such orders would question them, but that is a crapshoot.
-
Agree. And they should. .... All it takes , is a few good men ... ;)

Please ask them why the Trump Administration is not enforcing Russian sanctions - this is happening at the port of Boston! I don't want to be using Russian gas against my will/without my knowledge!https://twitter.com/olgaNYC1211/status/957836630051745797 …

Wilber Ross owns a big chunk of the company that ships Russian Oil & Gas. We’ve entered a Trump First Reality... & his WH has 1 goal: Make Bank.

If they release the memo, they have to release (and might as well) the underlying info, so that people can judge for themselves whether that info justifies the memo and all the rumour around it.
-
No, they don’t. They can release the memo with any classified information redacted, and not release any of the underlying classified documents. That way, they control the cherry-picked information in the memo and leave almost no way to refute it.
-
There is no classified info. None of our intelligence agencies knows anything about this memo. The info came right out of Nunes and Fox imaginations. That’s why they don’t want anyone to see it

-
And that is exactly why I want it published ;) Memo, and the info it was bases on (allegedly) ;)
-
Curious to see whose intelligence agency provided it
It wasn’t one of ours. -
As you said: imagination, created out of despair ;)
-
The entire “strategy” of the memo seems to rely on the underlying intelligence remaining classified, so that outrageous claims can be made about it.
-
That was clear to me. And that is exactly why I pronounce we are on to that, and that at that moment all can be disclosed, and that we want it all to be made public. And if Trump/GOP won' t, no doubt by now, somebody else will. We just have to call their bluff.

I can't believe what is happening to our country.
-
I can. Racism runs deep in this country. Greed even deeper. Together they're a deadly combo.
