I don't know if that's what it is, but there's very little reason to split Trump from his party. The party is only doing what he tells them to do.
-
The party does what Trump tells them to? Have you been in a coma for two years?
-
*IS* Right now they're doing what the WH is telling them to do. There's zero reason to split GOP and Trump in polling
-
Mitch McConnell claimed he didn't even know what the President wanted. The President is meeting with Schumer directly. Half the GOP is fighting for amnesty without a wall. don't sit here and pretend they are on Trumps side.
-
They're on the phone with Mulvaney and Short, every single day, coordinating what to do. There's no reason to split Trump from the party he controls and leads, in polling.
-
You don't know anything about Republicans or the state of the Republican party. All that said, no one actually believes CNN polls. What matters is what is the right thing to do, not who the media wants to blame.

So: 47% GOP+President at fault, 31% Dems at fault. And 10% in a coma. Really worried about those people.
-
I’m going to go out on a limb and say they may not even know Trump is president. That would mean that they have no idea what the question even means.
-
The good news is we don't need them to

Dems??! What happened to the great deal maker who alone can fix everything??
-
Honestly I'm just surprised 31% of respondents didn't say it was Obama's or Hillary's fault

Wait why you would separate trump from the gop Congress?
-
White Male Privilege. Y'know, the VERY thing they could never give President Obama.

Not rocket science. The 31% who say Dems are his base.
