He also said that he and Feinstein were negotiating which witnesses to bring forward - a sign they are trying to move ahead despite the acrimony

Grassley on Kushner: “When you’re getting people to voluntarily come to you, it may make a lot of people a little more reserved about whether or not they want to cooperate.” Does that mean Kushner is off the hook? “No, no. Not at all,” he said.http://snpy.tv/2CXBpIu

So releasing a transcript when a witness was ok with it makes it harder to bring in future witnesses, but lying about their testimony & threatening criminal charges, does not??
-
Exactly. Thanks.

Subpoena his privileged ass.

If for no other reason than to see the twitter-tantrum that would follow.pic.twitter.com/bbtiYGskBC

Can we fast-forward to the part where he's cracked like an egg on live television please?

Anytime a GOP member lies about a witness’s testimony, any member of Congress should release the transcript. This should be the new standard.
-
We will call this new standard the Feinstein Rule.
-
How about if we make the new standard be that ALL transcripts are automatically released unless they contain classified info? Let’s remember - this is OUR government, WE pay these Congresspeople to work for US!

It also makes it harder for Grassley to paint Steele as a criminal instead of a hero.

Release makes it much harder to mischaracterize testimony given in closed session. Also, Simpson ASKED for testimony to be released. Implying that a confidence was somehow broken is preposterous. Grassley has nothing but weak logical fallacies to defend his actions.
-
Well then, let us see all banking transactions concerning Glenn Simpson and Fusion GPS

-
LOL, you actually retweeted YOURSELF moments after your first tweet? I think there's a word for that...since you're so interested in banking transactions, how about we see Trump's tax returns already?
-
Why did the rest of Fusion plead the Fifth? Why did Simpson turn down public hearing? Fusion not looking good right now
-
Simpson had to take precautions to protect clients from public disclosure. The IMPORTANT question here: Why did Grassley first mischaracterize testimony, then try to stop publishing of it after Simpson requested release? Grassley and GOP look like lying treason weasels right now.
-
He could've taken those precautions during public testimony. He was pretty evasive in his testimony as well. Not a good look overall
-
Maybe not in the far-Right echo chamber where there is but one truth and that is Trumpism. People who live in the real world where facts, honesty and justice matter see it very differently.
-
If you don't understand the matter just say so. No need for ad homin attacks. Many on the left want so badly for Fusion and the dossier to have credibility, but it's clear that their likely isn't much there at this point
