Trump has 10 days to sign a bill. If Congress is adjourned, it becomes a pocket veto. So he had to sign it.

I forgot about that. The GOP completely screwed themselves ramming it through so fast without thinking about the schedule rules. Now the Medicare cuts will take effect from January 2018, not 2019.
-
Yup. It had to be signed by January 1, I think. No one knows civics these days, so I’m not surprised he used the excuse of what they were saying on TV. Which they weren’t.

Isn't it comforting that the POTUS makes decisions based on all the media outlets he claims he never watches.
-
But wait don't the media outlets just spout fake news?????!!!!!!
-
Naw, just FOX.
-
But...he said he didn’t have time to watch TV and that he’s too busy to even read. Right?!?pic.twitter.com/lEnqfALBzm

Remember when his gang used to say "Oh, he was just kidding" when he lie? They seem to have given-up on that mularkey.

Or maybe he knows he won't be president by Jan. 7 or 8. Now that would be a Merry Christmas.

That’s terrific. Trump’s decisions driven by press feedback and what makes him look good, instead of him choosing to do the right thing for the people of his country
