This is such a shockingly dishonest statement by
@PressSec. Hell will freeze over twice before Trump shows his returns. Congress must pass a law requiring anyone running for office to provide 10 years of tax returns. Democrats must win back congress and codify this disclosure. -
In isolation our institutions are designed to handle an unethical man like Trump; however it was never designed to deal with a complicit congress controlled by the president's party. The Republicans are the problem; they're enabling & providing cover for a lawless president.

Statute of limitations for tax returns is 3 years, unless error is 25% or more, than it is six. Only reason his older returns could be audited is fraud or failure to file. So either he is being investigated for fraud, or he is lying.
