Anyone else think Manchin is purposely putting himself in a situation where the whole Dem caucus and power structure will hate him and not work with him, leaving Manchin "no choice" but to flip to the other side of the isle?
any bets Manchin doesn't show for lunch? he has a habit of missing caucus lunches & meetings with his collogues because he's afraid of confrontation. Manchin's all talk. he likes to talk about what a great high school QB he was, but he never played a down of football at WVU!
Why don't they just accept Manchin's number but cut the time frame so it has maximum impact over four years instead of 10 and have the @GOP run against that? As usual, not thinking strategically or playing to win.
