Susan Collins told @DanaBashCNN after Christine Blasey Ford testimony she thought: “Oh my goodness perhaps he needs to withdraw.” But she said that Kavanaugh’s “forceful denial,” along with “lack of corroboration” got her back to ‘yes.’

So it is not possible that they wouldn’t remember a party that was insignificant to them but totally possible that she would forget which acquaintance tried to rape her, right? Tortured logic to achieve her desired outcome.

I don’t remember every date I had in high school but I do remember the ones where my boyfriend forced me to give him BJ’s against my will and held my head down. It is because it was traumatic and still is
@SenatorCollins -
I remember his name too even though I don’t remember *everyone* I went to high school with. Go figure.
-
Yeah. I don't even remember the year I was assaulted. But I remember when he locked the office door and pushed me onto a desk.
-
I am so sorry for this attack on you.

Why would this be “impossible?” It’s actually “probable” if an assault occurred upstairs and the only people who knew about it were (1) Ford, (2) Judge, and (3) Kavanaugh. Ford never claimed she alerted the other attendees.

I have spent a lot of time this week thinking about my high school 40 years ago I remember a lot of incidents both good and bad: but details—which year , everyone there and so on—can’t remember it’s fascinating
@SenatorCollins should try it -
That would mean she’d have to exercise intellectual honesty and moral thinking

The lies
@SenatorCollins has told, and must keep telling, herself in order to justify that she sided with a credibly accused sexual assaulter and the group of men who shoved him onto our highest court. You are done, Senator. As is your dignity and respect. - 1 more reply

It’s entirely possible
-
It's not 'possible' but likely. I've been to like 1,000 gatherings where something like this *could* have happened and I wouldn't remember if I was just the dude downstairs.

Stop calling it a party. Dr Ford was very specific it wasn't more then a stop out a house after the club with a small handful of people. Not even music in the living room. I can't even remember countless "quick stops" on the way home.
-
It was a PRE party gathering but yeah I agree
-
For him. She said she was on her way home. Remember she wouldn't have been a licensed driver so this could just have been a ride from the pool. She said he pulled at the bathing suit under her clothes.
-
Which was a rather vivid detail to remember.

Omg how many times did any suburban teenagers hang out with half a dozen other kids while in high school? If they weren’t the one sexually assaulted the evening was completely forgettable.
