A Dem from WV really needs to run in primary against @JoeManchinWV He has proven he’s a republican in disguise. We’ve had enough

Somebody did run against him but the Democratic establishment in it's incumbency protectionist ways for Joe manchin rejected a blue collared working-class progressive woman out of fear of loss. I bet all the women who nominated Manchin in the primaries over a woman are losing it.

Many reasons to vote no
@Sen_JoeManchin even if you want to discount the assault allegations -- lack of disclosure of documents, views on presidential powers, temperament, views on indigenous people --to name a few. -
Manchin can't help but stab democrats in the chest at every opportunity. His"I believe something happened, blah, blah, blah" is such a cop out, patronizing and condescending. I can't stand this man.Only thing he's been right about"I'm just a good ol'boy from WV".

I believe she is an assault survivor. I dont believe it was Kavanaugh. He shouldn't be punished by the maybes. I wouldn't want my husband or sons to suffer because someone thinks they did something a long time ago.
-
Becky but if your husband or sons acted like Brett did in court do you think anyone would hire them for any job really? His conduct was deplorable regardless. A justice is supposed to be non emotional and rational
-
Miss Johanna, I don’t know whether he is guilty or not but I’ve always told myself that if I was accused of something like this I would shout from the mountain tops to defend myself. I believe they both withheld stuff and weren’t honest about things. Thx.
-
even before the allegations came out they continued to hide 90% of his work that is unprecedented and he lied under oath (perjury) about the stolen emails and his time in the bush admin that should be enough for no vote
-
Wow. That is crazy. So why haven’t the dems jumped on that and not let up?

Dems, put emotions aside and do the math! BK will be confirmed with or without (due to Pence tiebreaker) Manchin’s vote. Essentially, Manchin’s SCOTUS vote is irrelevant. If Dems turn on Manchin, they’ll lose the SCOTUS...AND a Senate seat as well.
-
And, to add: on the other side, Murkowski’s ‘No’ vote is irrelevant as well...but it will most likely preserve her ability to maintain her Senate seat.
-
Sad but true. It's all just a game in the end. And we the people are getting played.
-
To be fair, there's no reason why we should not take Sen Murkowski at her word on why she chose to vote no...but it just not fathomable that political calculus also didn't factor into her decision.
-
NOT true! Sen Daines (R-MT) is in Montana TODAY for his daughter's wedding (according to reports). That leaves the GOP with 50 votes. Murkowski is a no, that means they have 49. If Manchin votes no, it's 50-49 and Pence has no vote.
@JoeManchinWV NOT#Collins is the deciding vt. -
Daines has made arrangements to fly a charter plane to vote, if necessary. That’s what he said.

Senator Manchin, please consider the following, Matthew 16:26: For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?
-
I was brought up in religion, but spent years trying, by introspection & study, to find reason to believe. I didn’t, but did learn of truth & logic from many different philosophies & yes, theistic faiths. Religious or Christian or not, facts r facts.
@JoeManchinWV, you failed US.
