Senators are relying heavily on their staff from each side to brief them on the contents of the FBI report on Kavanaugh. A very small fraction will likely end up reading it themselves

How is this fair process? Why do a FBI report for senators to use in their advise and consent capacity if they can’t read and study it themselves? GOP leaders hijacked process and ramming his nomination through - sure hope @JeffFlake @SenatorCollins @lisamurkowski don’t allow it!

With Collins and Flake both satisfied with the investigation, it’s hard to see them voting against the nomination since that would be an obvious red flag to raise right now. Kavanaugh appears, at the moment, headed to the Supreme Court

This entire investigation has been a joke and a sham. When my company releases a document for all of its employees, it definitely makes us all huddle together in a room and read it from a single copy. What a disgrace.

...that's true, and one of the many fundamental problems in American government today. I wish American voters all watched budget proceedings this year. When major budget bill was rammed through without time to allow *any* Senators to read it, America should have been up in arms.

That shouldn’t be hard since the FBI declined to meet with many witnesses and conducted a sham investigation.

How exactly can 49 senators share and fully read a single copy of the report in one (1) hour? Each senator has about one minute and 13 seconds to fully read it. They have to send in the person with a photographic memory so that it gets fully read.

I find your comments interesting inasmuch as it was reported staff were not allowed to review the report. Only Senators were supposed to see it.

I cannot adequately express how disgusted I am with the damage Mitch McConnell has inflicted on our country. He and Paul Ryan have inflicted more damage on the country than Trump because they could have stopped him.

Well for starters we wouldn't be in this Kavanaugh mess at all if @senatemajldr hadn't used the "nuclear option" to change Supreme Court nomination votes from 2/3 to simple majority. Extreme partisanship of the court was inevitable from that moment on.
