I think that's what a lot of people were missing--for all intents and purposes, she had an audience of four people (Collins, Murkowski, Flake, and Manchin).

Exactly. Mitchell was there to build a factual record that would put at least the three Republicans at ease with voting to confirm.

And I think that’s why Mitchell was hard on Kavanaugh in the questioning.[*] FC&M can say “We really grilled him, but the burden of proof just wasn’t met.” * or so I hear? I didn’t watch it 🤷‍♂️

Seriously? She didn't question Kavanaugh and blew her own questioning but sure she's determining the "facts" that were established at the hearing.

Kavanaugh is about to be confirmed so pretty sure she didn’t blow anything. The strategy is clear: poke enough holes to tee up Kavanaugh, a 12 year judge with a sterling judicial record, to blow additional holes through. Which he did. And that is why he is about to be confirmed.

But they were able to do their own investigation, they didn't need the FBI. While needing an attorney to tell them which facts were/were not established during testimony.

Why didn't the Dems attend the meetings ask the questions our provide the letter sooner. This is planned. Dems win at all cost. They have no honor or respect.

It was established that the small time prosecutor repeatedly and disgracefully tried and failed to hurt a victim's credibility. Guess that sells in Maricopa County?

Mitchell succeeded. Several inconsistencies were exposed. Ford still couldn't offer any corroboration to her story. Shame you missed it.

The facts that they didn’t even allow her to attempt to get from Kavanaugh because they were to busy telling him he was a hero and saying he was telling the truth, which they have no way to know?

And this changes nothing about my point or the fact that it's correct. Losers fight with pictures and memes. Put out a better effort next time.
