Flake speaks. The key swing vote on the committee calls both Ford and Kavanaugh “compelling.” Flake said: “In the end, there is likely to be as much doubt as certainty.”

I haven’t heard anybody make this simple point that if there is uncertainty, they must, MUST, vote no. The risk is too great.

applying non partisan college logic-What’s more likely: A reputable person inventing a disgusting accusatory story to ruin someone, or a reputable person of great achievement in denial about a past grave mistake?

Jeff, This is simple. This is not a criminal trial. This is a job interview for the highest promotion in our land. If you have any doubt whether or not Kavenaugh is guilty of attempted violent rape, as well as other sexual assaults, the only ethical vote is no. @JeffFlake

This Flake statement means he'll vote Kavanaugh out of committee. 'He said, she said' so it's all a wash, therefore it's all good for Flake.

I'm an optimist. That statement said he still had doubt. If he votes yes it would seem disingenuous. But yes, GOP ethics, I get it.
