        He didn't really say that exactly did he? He said it was up to the committee and Executive Branch. Not that he supported or welcomed it. Am I right?

        I think it was something along the lines of "whatever the Committee wants to do." He knows they have no desire to institute an FBI investigation. They have no desire to interview all of the players. It's really a shame!

        This is not what he said. He said he would do whatever the committee wanted. He never called for an FBI investigation. Be more precise.

        Pretty sure all he’s said is that he’ll do whatever the committee asks. Of course he already knows they won’t ask for it, so it’s an easy deflection for him
