Murkowski on whether hearing will determine vote: “I think we should allow for the committee to assemble, for the individuals to be heard, and then in fairness we should make our determination. Not only based on that particular moment in time ..but all that we have already heard”

And @lisamurkowski is a yes still. I don’t give a shit if someone inhaled in high school or played mailbox baseball while hanging out of a car. But sexual assault is a crime and nobody be ok with him on SCOTUS. Less allegations had senators resigning.

@lisamurkowski @SenatorCollins IF u believe Dr Ford (or don't know who to believe) yet u still vote for #Kavanaugh based on the "totality of his record," it will permanently stain ur reputations & legacies. Period. U either believe him in all of his inconsistencies or u #VoteNO!

Is the hearing a fair and honest search for the truth and holding people accountable? Or is this hearing a sham? Can you ask Lisa Murkowski if it’s appropriate not to bring Mark Judge(witness), Ford’s therapist, Ford’s friend in whom she confided, under oath?

This is a bad sign from Alaska Senator @lisamurkowski ...sounds like a “let bygones be bygones” argument as to the allegations by Prof. Christine Blasey Ford that Trump’s SCOTUS nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, tried to rape her. #MeToo #StopKavanaugh

@lisamurkowski doesn't mean Kavanaugh's prior perjury. Or that he would strip rights from Native Alaskans. She's implying she's ALSO willing to ignore attempted rape in order to vote to confirm.https://twitter.com/mkraju/status/1042068656241483776 …

@lisamurkowski Dr Ford already has FAR more credibility than a man who has perjured himself multiple times. Either stand up, or sit down!

We need an investigation first so that all relevant facts can be considered. Otherwise it will be a he-said she-said charade leaving Senators to fill in the blanks with their intuitions instead of the many ascertainable and relevant facts that an investigation would surface.

Its very easy. One of the parties is lying. The question one must ask is: "Which party has the most to gain by lying?"
