My fear is hung jury. I talk to Trump cultists every day. If one of them are on the jury, that person would not convict regardless of the strength of the evidence.
-
Unless we're in a coup (not sayin' we aren't) there will not be 18 acquittals. Why? It's a document case. Having said that, a hung jury isn't the end by any means. It just means the prosecution can re-try the charge(s) with a different jury.
-
Yep I agree.

I want to make it clear that I'm not a lawyer. But i was nervous & did some light research last night, esp on what happens w/ mis-trial (hung jury). Who has the power to re-try? Prosecution. Yay!

Knew it! Trump’s goons have been able to compromise one or more jurors through intimidation, blackmail or harassment
-
Why didn't they sequester the jury?!
-
Been wondering the same thing. It’s a high profile case. Some may call it a mob case...
-
This is a huge, high profile case...
