The Senate delivered the third symbolic rebuke to Trump since last month - this time reaffirming support for freedom of press and affirming the "press is not the enemy of the people." It passed by unanimous consent. This comes after symbolic rebukes to Trump on NATO and tariffs

But can you imagine a censure resolution coming from the House on the free press issue? Or any issue? Anything Trump does or says gets a free pass with House Repubs. Party before country, hey boys?

Recalling the words if a true President: “To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” — Theodore Roosevelt

Senate delivers 3rd “rebuke” to Trump because they don’t have the ethics or cajones to do anything of substance.

Isn't that special, #Republicans ? All these symbolic rebukes (no teeth). Surely you won't be thought complicit in all this looting of our country & working with an adversarial foreign government via the #RNC to get talking points from hacked emails for your re-election in 2016.

Senators must speak out. They cannot hide behind unanimous consent. I want to know who has a spine and can be respected.

can I "symbolically" be at work today and get paid for it? A cardboard cut out should work, right?
