I asked Grassley this morning about Kavanaugh’s writings expressing skepticism about indicting a sitting president, Grassley said: “No person, including the president of United States, is above the law.”

Ok, but what if you have the power to install your own law because you convinced a Supreme Court Justice to step down so you could appoint someone who says presidents are above the law?https://twitter.com/mkraju/status/1017057942120615939?s=21 …

That’s just silly. Trying to appeal to an elder statesman with pure logic. You really should know better. Their only mode of communication is one way soundbite.

Follow up: if you truly believe that, why should someone who says the exact opposite be a supreme court justice?

Grassley often has appropriate things to say. But, his statements tend to be particularly empty.

One would hope any new supreme court judge would be an honest man and know right from wrong. They would not support a corrupt president in any way shape or form. 🤞🏻 Then our country would have justice for all.
