I think I’m reading this incorrectly. It looks to me like he said it’s ok for them to obstruct justice. Maybe I’m tired cause that doesn’t seem correct

They are saying that a lawyer could be charged with obstruction of justice like anyone else.
-
Thank you - I knew my reading of it had to be in error. Shouldn’t read while tired!
-
I read it the same way. I was a bit confused too.
-
I felt dumb for asking but figured someone would be kind enough to clear it up for me. I like their understanding of it much more than how I understood it.
-
Thanks for taking the hit!
-
No problem! I’d rather get clarification than be confused all night!
-
Don't feel bad. We are all so fucking fatigued. It's a wonder...

What? That seems like not right.
-
Of course it is right. If the lawyer, like Trump's lawyers, attempts to tamper with witnesses by offering pardons, for example, they're obstructing justice, too.
-
The level of patience you exhibit explaining all details, not just this one, impressing me to no end. Love you for what you do.

Nixon’s lawyer went to jail for this if I remember correctly.
-
Yes, Kalmbach was Nixon's personal lawyer. Get this. Raised secret fund to pay off people. Tried to sell an ambassadorship and went to jail for six months, 10k fine. Very Cohen sounding. But Cohen is in deeper, much deeper than Kalmbach.
#CohenToPrison soon. -
If we don't put these criminals in jail for many YEARS, we will get another Nixon Administration & Trump Administration and it will be 100 times worse.
-
And this time, no pardons!
-
Agree 100%
