Nadler on if Strzok should be fired: “My personal opinion is no...It showed bad judgment writing those things - but as long as they kept them ... from affecting their decision and the key finding of the investigation ... it does not detract from the validity of the whole thing.”

Why the fuck are Democrats constantly held to a much higher standard? For example,
@farenthold used taxpayer dollars to settle a sexual harassment case. I don’t think sexually harassing women is in his job description... Taxpayers also don’t foot the bill if you do!!!!! - 1 more reply

Thanks Manu for all you do. Please stay hydrated and keep a fire extinguisher near by. I feel like Trump is going to burn the place down any minute now.

Yep. That’s the whole point right there. Instead of firing Strotz, he deserves a metal.

dems arent vindictive little shits like republicans

Yep. It's also a lesson in respecting institutional independence and getting back away from all the politicians calling for people to be fired crap we've been seeing. Unless it's egregious, pols should shut it and leave it to Wray.

Leaving it up to Wray is the right way to go.

Yep. Institutional independence, and it's not like Strzok did something beyond the pale. He probably should be fired, but electeds need to respect boundaries unless it's something egregious. We need to get away from this politicians calling for firings every five minutes crap.

Did you ask why the DOJ/FBI hid these texts? And were they okay with 1 branch of government thwarting oversight?

Did the bias effect the investigation. Are there specific facts showing investigation was comprised. IG silent on that. In fact concludes that investigation not compromised. Sounds like a law enforcement agent who believes a suspect is guilty. That happens a lot in law enforcement
-
No law against an officer or agent being biased against suspect. Key is whether bias led that agent to skew the investigation ie plant evidence. No facts to support that in this case. Troublesome yes. Mueller recognized this and removed the agent.
