And the GOP acts as if this is normal: A candidate who criticizes the president knows his career is over. https://twitter.com/Teri_Kanefield/status/1005490339711410178 … Nobody must question or cross the Dear Leader.

(Thread) Donald Trump and the Cult of Leadership FDR defined fascism as “ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or any controlling private power.” To get a better sense of what fascism is, I read Paxton’s book. Here are my takeaways. pic.twitter.com/N029vul2Ji

This confirms that unless Mueller's report on the Russia probe -which is reportedly due in a month- includes indictments against him, Trump will likely crank up the crazy to his worst yet and not a single Republican in Congress will utter a word of protest to stop him.

Republicans are tired of electing politicians who are either unwilling or unable to fight for their interests. It's that simple.

Republicans who speak the truth should not be an oxymoron. I appreciate anyone who is brave enough to break with their party to put the country first.

People who have made mistakes can still speak the truth no matter which party they belonged to. For some odd reason, some Republicans seem to have a cult mentality going on at the moment. Ask yourself what would happen if he manipulated the truth for nefarious intentions.

Are there not 25 Republicans of any principle left? That is all it would take to force a floor vote on impeachment.

Who died & left you in charge of everyone's moral compass? Just bc you don't like doesn't mean you can talk about us as if it's your sole responsibility to keep everyone in line with your beliefs & agendas. FYI-you can't impeach a President bc you don't like him.The more you guys

Impeachment is a political act. Congress can impeach him if they wake up tomorrow and decide they don't like his little hands.

Do you know what the Supremes have ruled that to mean? They have ruled that impeachment is a political act, and that the 'misdemeanors' part can be anything that gives the body offense. It is not a criminal court, it is a political process. Crack open a Constitutional Law book.
