Jim Wolfe, the former head of security for the Senate Intelligence Committee, was arrested tonight on charges he lied to the FBI over his contacts with three reporters during a leak investigation. This is the probe that Senate Intel agreed to help DOJ with.

Oh now it's okay to use the word lie? Are you sure he didn't push a false narrative?
-
yes how can we possibly know his intent

Wolfe and Watkins not withstanding, I appreciated when Eric Holder said he wouldn’t be prosecuting reporters. Leaking to reporters is good, and in the public interest. This admin lies so much Americans have to find out the truth by any means available.
-
Um, weren't we discussing how bad it is to leak info on confidential FBI informants to the press just two weeks ago? Because that's what was done here.

I remain deeply skeptical & concerned about any reporter’s phones, files etc being seized but this was her boyfriend. The notion they never discussed classified information steains credulitypic.twitter.com/sDg1Sr1rly

Great. Be sure to use "Lie" when it pertains to Trump as well.

Finally! A government official is finally held accountable for lying. I'm hoping Nunes is next.
-
When you wake up tomorrow you'll find this event is nowhere near as positive as you thought it was.
-
There’s nothing positive happening right now. There’s only lesser of two evils.
-
Well, that all depends on your perspective doesn't it?
-
Yes. And one’s ability to parse our facts from propaganda.
-
Do you realize that if you parse Wolfe's indictment that Manu Raju is almost certainly Reporter #1, thus he was almost certainly receiving the leaks from Wolfe?
-
Sounds more like Manu is jealous he wasn't even near the loop! Or the one dating Wolfe, perhaps. https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.nytimes.com/aponline/2018/06/07/us/politics/ap-us-justice-reporter.amp.html …

One of the things I find most frustrating is when
@CNN does not interrupt segments to bring me current on@mkraju's breaking news! He can only share so much on Twitter! C'mon guys! What do we suspect he leaked and why??pic.twitter.com/BOTkw8PkGB - 1 more reply
