Would you think the post applies to non-races like Ruska? In retrospective, I've crossed the line at least once during my two Ruskas and been too far on the dark side twice. But, in a non-race, I personally prefer the not being a dick side, even if it means bending the rules.

Pretty much. There are the few rules and sticking to them is kind of what integrity of the events needs. As in the Ruska manual, the roads are there for any other kind of riding any time you want, when in the event you need to stick to its rules.

funnily enough, when you asked me for the toilet code in Sofia, I had the same thought. However, it was printed on your receipt, and therefore you did already have the code with you. It would be like asking what restaurant you were sat in!

I need to add, although the idea was in my previous msg. Later on, at the finish, when he disclosed he's decision not to tell, I absolutely didn't think he'd been a dick. Instead, I felt myself lucky, that's a guy who relies on me and feels confident with me. That's a feeling!

but also because the more people enter this and "offspring" races, the more people with a Laissez-faire or more a somewhat entitled mindset are coming into this. Either with no second thought on the Values of such racing or with the downright understanding that others are
