It’s almost like people are starting to realize that nothing is “trickling down”... of course that idea was always absurd and based on the poor getting the scraps from the tables of the rich even if it did work

A large percentage of the apartments near Central Park are actually empty, because they are second (or third or fourth etc) homes to uber-wealthy...whole so many across the state live in poverty.

A wealthy tax full of deductions is no tax. Level the playing field. Everybody pays. No deductions allowed. None for anyone. Do not keep adding roadblocks to the middle class growth and socioeconomic mobility. Taxing second homes will do that and stagnate the real estate Mkt.
