I do not think a coordinated, corporate crackdown over several platforms, which limits the online speech of a bunch of Americans is good. It feels creepy & authoritarian. I’m surprised how many seem content it won’t spread to speech they like or chill their own to prevent banning

And, no, it’s not a 1st Amendment assault in that government isn’t doing it. But preventing government censorship seems about the least we can do for speech, & when I come to this garbage site however rarely, I’d like to see a variety of viewpoints from you freaks.

I also think Section 230 protections KEEP a bunch of people and speech from being banned, & am wary of messing with them, so I’m sure there’s something in this thread for everyone to hate! Which is good! Good practice for enduring and defending speech you dislike.
