•Spicewood Springs Road, all the way to 360: Approximately 170 meters – 99 outages and 1,364 members affected – Early Monday
•Anderson Mill east of 620: Approximately 80 meters: 11 outages and 47 members affected – Saturday evening

, you can see a power line sparking off a tree with ice that has obstructed the line off Mopac near North Austin Medical Center. Instances like this occurred all across Austin, which is what has lead to the problems we are now recovering from.
There are about 400 lineworkers, tree trimmers and other personnel from Austin Energy and neighboring utilities working around the clock to get customers back online. Thank you for your patience as our crews work to safely restore power as quickly as possible.

There is extensive damage between Spicewood Springs and 360 and Anderson Mill east of 620. Multiple poles are down, and crews have found it difficult and dangerous to get around, but they will continue to work on restoring power. 3/3
PEC is seeing an increased number of isolated outages that can take time to repair. Their crews are making progress, but due to the widespread damage, it is difficult to provide a system-wide restoration time. Outages could extend into the weekend.

Update from Pedernales Electric Cooperative: PEC crews continue repairing poles and downed wires and removing tree limbs. Though the ice is melting, this event is still ongoing, and the damage across our service area is extensive. 1/
