    Very much enjoyed doing today's Fintech Beat podcast with . In what I imagine is a coincidence, it begins with a Goldman Sachs ad about gender equality in lending, and around the 7min mark I mention (anecdotal) reports of gender bias in the Apple-GS credit card:).

    Back in December, I previewed some of the ideas of our Brookings piece below in a Twitter thread and received some helpful thoughts and feedback. Thanks to those who chimed in and happy to hear follow-up thoughts on the published brief, as we continue to develop these ideas.

    Looking forward to our conersation with and at the tomorrow. We also have a Brookings Policy Brief out: suggesting the need for a more quantitative approach to regulation.

    The air is getting cold, and Christmas lights are up. It must be the end of the semester. This is the end of my semester long sabbatical, so back to teaching next semester. Fortunately I get to teach interesting classes as part of the program. 1/
