My old ScanSnap no longer works in Sierra. Model is long discontinued so no driver update. Perfectly fine scanner now a doorstop.

@stevenf I have the original ScanSnap, too. The newer software versions seem to work fine with it.

@mjtsai @stevenf Oh my—I’ve got a Windows VM for testing in IE, but I’d rather not have to have a macOS VM too. Hopefully a fix will come.
