@danielpunkass @mjtsai The trouble is: People may be depending on the state -- a developer could have set it to NO to do manual tabbing...

@nibroc @mjtsai Oh, I think I get it now: the state IS conveyed regardless, but once I've disabled automatic tabbing, nothing cares about it

@danielpunkass @mjtsai I definitely understand your point..it's difficult that the feature is on by default and has to be turned off in API.

@mjtsai @nibroc Thanks! I think the circumstances described show it's too easy for a developer to inadvertently inherit unwanted tab bars.

@danielpunkass @mjtsai Have you had reports of this from users? You can check tabbedWindows!=nil, and call toggleTabBar: to hide it.

@nibroc @mjtsai My affected app is in beta so it was luckily not exposed to a large number of users when I ran into the problem.
