@mjtsai It's that it doesn't say anything about the security of TouchID. They unlocked a phone with the pattern it was trained with.

@rosyna Right. To me, the main point is the bigger picture. Fingerprints are unchangeable and less secret than passwords.

@mjtsai, @rosyna — Not only is it unchangeable and less secret, you can be forced to provide it without consent. I leave it off.

@simX @mjtsai You cannot be forced to tell them *which* finger it is. They get a max of 5 attempts.
