TIL that Icon Composer uses Garbage Collection and thus can't run on Sierra. Dammit, I was still using that, mostly for quick scaling.

If anybody wonders why I'm still hesitant about ARC, this is why. (See also: pref panes, where GC was first mandatory, and then illegal.)

@petermaurer@mmunz Yeah, converting the C API uses seemed like a lot of trouble, with lots of opportunity to introduce bugs.

@mjtsai@petermaurer Yes, but point of ARC is it gives GC benefits w/o requiring a sep runtime from manual retain/release.
