@mjtsai iOS 10 stores pretty large image previews… way higher res than in iOS9
If Photos machine learning works on your device, not the cloud, but the device is only storing thumbnails, how does it scan all your photos?

@mjtsai Pretty sure Apple said they actually scan the thumbnails because those are enough? -

@mjtsai It could also temp download the full image, scan it, then toss it from a rolling queue. Although smaller previews would work. -
