@mjtsai 2/3 You can't buy a MBP with decent storage without paying a huge premium.
Hopefully, eventually, the cost for SSD will fall.

@leehinde Not just price—the max capacity is lower. A MacBook Pro with a Fusion Drive would make sense if Apple were less focused on thin. -
@mjtsai yes; it’d be nice to have a choice. MacBook/Air for folks for whom slim is important, thicker MBP when storage is important.

@mjtsai 3/3 And maybe even because Apple is shippng them with almost every laptop. But, in the meantime I keep my Mid-2012 MBP. -
@mjtsai 1/3 Another example of Apple moving ahead too fast is the move to SSDs.
