Turns out that there’s -[NSWorkspace openURLs:withApplicationAtURL: …] but it’s not documented. Always check the headers.

@mjtsai Did you have questions about it? (And please file a documentation radar!)0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
@grynspan There is NSWorkspaceLaunchConfigurationAppleEvent, but that seems to correspond to the LSApplicationParameters.initialEvent.0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
@mjtsai That option isn't available in NSWorkspace. Would LSOpenFromURLSpec (using LSLaunchURLSpec.passThruParams) work for you?0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
@grynspan Possibly, but I don’t see how to convert my AEKeyDesc to an AEDesc *. What exactly is the format of passThruParams?0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
@mjtsai It's set as the equivalent of inAEParam->descContent, with descKey == keyAEPropData.0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
@grynspan If the key is always keyAEPropData, I don’t think that will work for me. I need to specify keyAESearchText.0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -
@mjtsai Are you passing this data to another process you don't control?0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
