The Mac App Store review time problem is essentially "fixed". Review times seem to be consistently reduced to ~1 day.

@iTod What is the time period for your data? I had a bunch of quick reviews in 2012, too. Then 28, 7, 41, 61, 4 days, etc. No pattern.

@mjtsai That's 5 mac app submissions in the past month. I think one (or maybe 2) review was 2 days. The rest were 1 day.

@mjtsai Me too. I have 3 more submissions coming soon. I'll let you know how they go.

@mjtsai 3 more Mac App submissions. Time from submission to accepted: 1 day, 1 day, 2 days (including a Sunday).

@mjtsai This change seemed to coincide with the appointment of Schiller to his new role.

@iTod i wonder if it means just rubber stamping now?

        5. Todd Ditchendorf ‏@iTod Apr 26

@wooliegeek Maybe but not necessarily. It was clear to me that prev they allowed submissions to accumulate for days b4 reviewing any of them

@wooliegeek I say that cuz I used to submit two apps days apart, yet they'd both enter Review at roughly the same time a week later.

@wooliegeek So there was obviously a great deal of slack in the system that could easily be resolved with more relatively low-skill manpower

@iTod not that I think that is what is happening. I think rubber stamping would be terrible.
