@mjtsai As you say, I could never get the cursor thing to work reliably. If it did, that might be justification for 3D touch.

@mcelhearn Interesting. I haven’t seen others write about that problem. I thought I was the only one pressing it wrong.

@mjtsai I don't think I every wrote anything about it. I wrote this in October, but neglected to mention the cursor.http://www.macworld.com/article/2993137/operating-systems/3d-touch-a-great-feature-that-could-be-even-better.html …

@mjtsai App switching, shortcuts to certain functions in an app, and especially cursor relocation.

@mjtsai Admittedly peeking is somewhat less useful for me, but I do occasionally use it. Problem is I press too hard and end up opening it.

@mjtsai 3D Touch would be a great place to move App-specific Settings. Settings app is a mess.

@AppleFanboi1984 Do you mean access settings in the menu from the home screen?

@mjtsai For each respective app, it'd be nice to 3D Touch its icon and gain access to its settings or prefs instead having in Settings app.

@mjtsai Disparaging comments about 3D Touch have confused me. I admit some uses are silly, but I use it all the time (continued)
