@McCloudStrife No, I don’t have a watch. That is a surprising finding, though. Everyone I’ve seen talk about this has blamed the CPU.

@mjtsai Problem is, IPC involves lots of objc_msgSend to [un]marshal and memcpy()'s stuff over so creating a 200 item picker saturates I/O. -
@mjtsai The other major issue: "native" watchOS 2 apps aren't native they spawn a UI process (Apple's) and a logic process (app) & uses IPC. -
@mjtsai Things I've seen like time labels were constructed using SpriteKit (!!) to a CALayer where rasterizing fonts directly is TONS faster
