@mjtsai I think Adobe's core customers see no acceptable substitutes, meaning they nail their core task better than the competition.

@mjtsai There have been some interesting budget entrants—Pixelmator, Affinity—but their revenue models will prove problematic.

@mjtsai Ironically, Reid dings Adobe for the subscription model, but shrink wrapped, pay-once software is increasingly the anachronism.
