Do developers get to see what one types into the "Report crash..." box in Mac OS X? Not sure who the audience is for these things I type.

Which reminds me: what is the current best practice for sandboxed apps to access their own crash log files?

@mjtsai Bad UI, but I've had a couple show up that need to be download immediately. Non useful, only a small % of crashes, entirely broken. -
@jmfd And anonymous so you can’t contact the customer to provide a fix or get more info. -
@mjtsai (1/2) Officially they claimed ITC was the way to get crash logs, and so there was no need for us to get them any other way. -
@mjtsai (2/2) Unofficial channels said some data remained so not fully private/anonymous. Also heard (~10.9) we might get them back, but no.
