@mjtsai I doubt that average users have more than one Apple ID.
Mac App Store doesn’t eliminate licensing problems. Customer can’t remember which Apple ID was used to purchase app, so can’t redownload it.

@mjtsai or customer moves to a different country, loses all purchases (one of my users had that issue this week) -

@mjtsai we see this constantly with iOS in-app purchases, too. -

@mjtsai We’ve had a previous employee install the http://Server.app under their ID. No way to update without new purchase.
