      @mjtsai I did use El Capitan's Finder to burn an ISO image last Saturday. Don't know about DMG though…

      @JessMutant For both .dmg and .iso files, I don't see a Burn command in the Finder's menus or contextual menu.

          @mjtsai I have both a Burn command in both the contextual menu and the Finder's menu ! ;-) (vanilla 10.11 from the App Store, clean install)

          @JessMutant It appears that the Finder now hides (rather than disables) the Burn command if no burner is connected.
