@mjtsai DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES is ignored for SIP-protected binaries; might also apply to similar library-load-affecting DYLD_* vars?
Not sure exactly what changed in 10.11, but DYLD_FALLBACK_FRAMEWORK_PATH is no longer being inherited by children the same way as before.

@landonfuller I was using /usr/bin/make to run a tool, so perhaps that explains it. Even DYLD_PRINT* vars were ignored (not passed down).
