@mjtsai I think it's a broader movement; the death of OO as a "formal" CS foundation (and I think it's a great thing).

@mjtsai I'll take a language capable of expressing LINQ (relational algebra) over CoreData (OO) any day.

@mjtsai CoreData's traction seems to be largely a matter of circumstance; simply impossible to implement LINQ in ObjC …but now there's Swift

@landonfuller @mjtsai LINQ can be done with a preprocessor, they could have done this with ObjC but went the ugly NSPredicate route.
